“Soft Language” brings together 21 local and international women artists (among them Jala Aziz, Kirra Kusy, Lea Sun, Agustina Fioretti, Nora Sarlak, Sara Heidary and Teresa Puig) in a show curated by the Baku-based artist Leyli Alakbarova. Textile and mixed-media works made of wool, silk, cotton, metal and paper explore how materials speak through softness, repetition and touch, and how historically gendered craft techniques become sites of knowledge, inheritance and renewal.
